I hadn’t even seen the first Mission Impossible movie so didn’tknow ‘exactly’ what to query when I went to stare the sequel in a UK cinema recently. It was absolutely astounding. It has a very similar structure, memoir and similar characters to the original noble James Bond films but has more enchanting and awe-inspiring scenes of action and improbable scenery.
The cast all execute brilliantly especially the supremely talented Mr. Tom Coast who puts in another outstanding performance. Dougray Scott as the abominable guy also deserves credit for his performance as does the rest of the cast.
I recommend this film to James Bond fans and all action/adventure/mystery/thriller fans and fans of similar genres.

Don’t go in expecting a high brow fully believable film. Go to recognize excitement and escapism and you won’t be disappointed. Mammoth action, apt direction let the mood occupy you. Don’t try to pick up flaws in the status there are plenty, also missing are wearisome one liners when someone gets killed (a actual breath of unique air after James Bond etc) and the film takes its characters seriously . Over the top yes but not badly done like Face off and Con Air. Scrutinize and bask in, this took a lot of hard work to do and had me rooting for the gracious guy!
